About Cub Scout Pack 899 in Fallston MD

Since 1991, Cub Scout Pack 899 in Fallston has been made up of families actively engaged in mentoring our youth from young children to young adults. Each month, there is a Pack Meeting with some type of theme or event: Welcome Back Campfire, Halloween Party, Holiday Party, Science Stations, etc. January brings the racing action of the Pinewood Derby, where scouts compete with model cars that they build. The Blue & Gold Banquet is held in February or March to honor the achievements of all the scouts during the year. The Raingutter Regatta is typically held in May and features sailboat races using sailboats made and powered by the scouts.

Throughout the year there are various other activities, including fishing, derbies, hikes and lots of fun.

PACK MEETINGS

Pack meetings are held monthly, usually on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. (please see pack schedule – Pack 899 meetings).  All dens meet together at the monthly Pack meeting for special activities and award ceremonies. Pack meetings are a great opportunity for parents and scouts to participate in scouting together. Siblings and friends are always welcome at pack meetings.

Meetings can take place at someone’s home, at a school or a church, depending on the individual den.
